About The Event
Donkey Dots Music was born from a commission by the New Wimbledon Theatre. This fun and education class is for children, toddlers and babies aged 4 and under.
Donkey Dots Music is led by Verona Chard with LIVE piano music from Chris Neill, award winning musician and composer. The session features well known rhymes and tunes plus original songs. The session is accessible and creative and includes improvisation and planned learning.
The Donkey Dots Music mother group, The Musical Balloon Band was conceived in 2013 and funded by the Art’s Council with mentorship by the Nottingham Theatre Royal and Concert Hall’s for their Beanbag Music series. Winners of the Fantastic For Families – Best Family Music Award.
Nominated by public vote The Musical Balloon Band is booked to appear in June for ‘The Library Presents’ performances for Cambridgeshire Council / Babylon Arts 2025 and previously 2024, 2023, 2022. Show public ratings 9/10 and 10/10.
Verona Chard has been ‘popping up’ in sell out Musical Balloon Band and Donkey Dots Music shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival; Fairfield Halls, Croydon; New Wimbledon Theatre; Art’s Theatre, London and at Community Centre’s; Festivals; Carnivals; Fun Days and indoor and outdoor Family events around the UK. She is a trained performer and educator with a passion for Early Years Development and teaching SEN/D children and Adult Learners.

Refunds & Exchanges
If this event is cancelled in its entirety due to any unforeseen circumstances, The Musical Balloon Band has the sole and absolute right to: reschedule the event, or issue a partial/full refund, or not issue any refunds. If this event has to be rescheduled to other dates, you may not be eligible for any refunds. In case the event is fully cancelled, the refund, if issued, will include ONLY the face value of the ticket(s). The bearer cannot, under any circumstances, claim refunds on any other processing or handling fees, and such other charges.
